PGI is the only private, non-profit Greensboro/Guilford County organization advocating for historic preservation, offering preservation educational programs and supporting "green sustainable" construction. PGI also operates the National Historic Landmark Property, Blandwood Mansion, which is open for docent-led tours Tuesday-Sunday. The onsite Carriage House is available for outside rentals for meetings, receptions, parties and other special events.
