I didn’t know when I was planning tea parties for my dolls and friends that I would grow up to plan one of the largest community street festivals, plus other city-wide programs in Greensboro, NC. (1989-1996, City Stage, African American Arts Festival, PLAZAZZ!, United Arts Council of Greensboro.)
Event production may seem complicated from the outside, but once you break it down into components, it becomes a series of tasks delegated to committee members and completed effortlessly with kind direction.
Just like a wedding, the guests never know what actually went wrong; only those involved have any knowledge of the work, the mistakes and the problems that happened. That means your production looked flawless and without effort!

OK, so I need to work on being quoted. At least you know I’m trying!
What I’m trying to convey is that I have planned small events (dolly tea parties) to coordinating large community festivals (City Stage for over 100,000 attendees.) I learned a lot along the way that has helped me simplify the process and make it easier and more efficient for all involved. I can be your consultant or your coordinator or any degree in between. I can get you going the first year and train someone along the way, so you and your organization can proceed in the future.
I can help you establish procedures, assist in permits and licenses, design committees, write job descriptions, etc. I can and will do all you need to make your event succeed from beginning to end.
